Decide the limit first
Set the amount and the time before you start, take only that amount with you, and leave when either one runs out. Never treat what you win as new budget.

Step outside, eat, sleep on it. If you find that you cannot stay away for a set number of days, that in itself is worth acting on.

You can ask to be excluded from a venue. Speak to the staff or the manager on duty and they will start the process that applies in that country.
